Healthy, Fresh Food.
Excellent food of it's kind. My chicken liver starter and lamb chops main and my wife's lentil soup followed by lamb and beef patties were each delicious. They were accompanied by very tasty rice, grilled tomato, sweet onion and well dressed zingy fresh leaves. We finished with very good Turkish coffee. Service was friendly and professional. We intend returning.PeterBSurreyUK - Tripadvisor
The most underrated restaurant in the area.
Cappadocia is walking distance from my home. I rarely go because it's so close. I went recently with a friend for lunch. It was amazing. The service was flattering. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy, served on time, and had everything we needed. The atmosphere made me feel happy and relaxed. The best part was the food. The slow cooked lamb was prepared to perfection. The lunch combo for £9 was an incredible deal for the quality of food that they served. I have paid a lot more for less. The portions are beyond generous. If you are debating on where to go for lunch or dinner in the Walton on Thames area, don't hesitate go to Cappadocia.PekingDoc - Tripadvisor
Friday evening treat
This is slick. Very slick. This restaurant operates like clockwork: waiters are friendly but efficient, menu is varied but not deliriously complex, food is screaming fresh. These guys clearly know what they are doing. We found the meze light and fragrant, the home made bread is absolutely superb, meats are grilled to perfection. The humous with mat crumbs was also superb. Service is ever present but in a discrete way – they do not feel like they have to ask you if you like your dish every five minutes (and they know your dish is good). We picked a bottle of French "Rare Vineyards" Pinot noir which was absolutely delightful (think cooked morello cherries, an hint of spice, a fruity wine punching way above its category), that went really well with our meal. This is also one of the rare restaurants where they installed acoustic panels on the ceiling. So it is busy and joyful, but you can still have a chat across the table without having to shout. Consumate pros, great dishes, a bill of under £70 for two with an excellent bottle of wine, this is a surefire winner.Starboardengine - Tripadvisor
Excellent yet again
This visit was the forth time we have been, and yet again it was excellent. The staff were as always very friendly and efficient. The food was lovely, we had the Hot Meze for four. The meat was beautifully tender and all the accompaniments went really well with it. The chaps had the house red, and the ladies the house white both of which were very nice, as were the traditional deserts for afters. Lovely place, highly recommended.Geoffcoe - Tripadvisor
Very flavourful and authentic Turkish food
came with a colleague for a mid-week lunch. Restaurant was fairly empty, but I believe it does get quite lively in the evenings. Staff were pleasant and friendly, and the food very fresh and authentic as attested by my colleague who lived in Turkey for 2 years. One small anomaly - we ordered the Cacik - the yoghurt and cucumber dip, but it did not come with bread. We had to ask for it. Other than that - I would go again, perhaps in the evening for a livelier atmosphere.Mr Bill - Tripadvisor
Great flavours.
If you are in town and like great flavours, it's a must. We saw some belly dancers while dining, great atmosphere! They do a set menu as well. Great place!Beatrix V. - Tripadvisor
Hidden Gem in Walton!
No wonder why this restaurant is #1 rated in walton! Food was absolutely delicious and i would say that im quite experienced in turkish cuisine having visited many in london. I had the mixed grill which was cooked to perfection and my partner had the tiger prawns which was also beyond amazing. The staff were very kind and attentive, would not think twice about coming here again. Definitely at the top of the list of our favourite places to visit!Japkey - Tripadvisor
Always brilliant
Been a big fan of this place since it popped up a few years back. I've eaten here more times than I can remember and I've never had a problem. The Monday Mezze special is a bargain. Fit for any occasion.Daniel S. - Tripadvisor
